Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

10 miles in 1:33:40.  Easy running up Middle Canyon to 5 mile turn around and back.  6:45 a.m.  Nice morning run in the canyon.  Didn't push it coming down.

5 miles at 5:05 a.m. 46:52. Easy running. A very warm morning. Shirtless for while. Good thing it was dark, that can be pretty scarey.

9 miles at 7:00 a.m. in 1:21:20, 9:02 overage pace. Fastest miles around 8:25. Up to the gate and back on Skyline for first 5, then ran the 50 W. and 150 W. paved alley paths north and south through town. Not a bad morning. Cooler, but more humid.

5.4 miles at 7:30 a.m.  Slow and easy.  Skyline route to end of pavement and then back to trail behind Little Mountain and back through the Wig-wam.  Getting warm.

6:00 a.m. run on the Smelter Road hills and into Middle Canyon a mile and back finishing along SR 36 out and back at the base of Settlement Canyon.  A bit sluggish again today.  2:29:37 for 16.15 miles.  Only a 9:15 average pace.  Always slower without Tina.  Saw a couple of deer crossing the road and some of the wild turkeys.  Ran with Matt1 down the big hill on Smelter.  He was struggling to even maintain 9:00 min. pace on the  best downhill, so he told me to go on as we headed back up toward Middle Canyon.  50 mile week.  Legs are still feeling it this week.
