Personal:

Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

9:00 a.m. 6.23 mile solo run at 9:47 overall pace.  Snowy day, icy roads.  Wore my spikes and I also found Tina's missing spike that she lost yesterday at about 1/2 mile or less into my run.  She'll be happy.

How did you find a missing spike in all of that snow? Scary roads today, glad you made it out and back safely.

I was extremely lucky. It was the entire rubber webbing from one shoe with the spikes and even with the snowplows out it was still right out in the middle of the street as I re-traced our steps from the previous run. I couldn't believe it.
